The headquarters as well as the Math and Mission centres conducted regular classes, lectures, general and textbook libraries as well as other cultural activities. A special effort was made to spread Sanskrit education among women and girls. The Math and the Mission also published books as well as periodicals, namely, NIBODHATA, in Bengali and SAMVIT, a bi-annual journal in English.
In connection with Swami Vivekananda’s 150th birth anniversary, processions, youth camps, conventions, conferences, seminars for the development of personality and inculcation of higher values etc. were organized with great enthusiasm by the Math and Mission centres throughout the year.
